Welcome
Immanuel is a diverse community of ordinary people engaging with an extraordinary God. We’re not spiritual experts but imperfect learners, dependent on Jesus and one another.
Established in 1853, Immanuel is an international Christian community sharing faith, hope and love in Dublin. We’re a home from home for all.
Join us Sundays 10am. We would love to have you!

What to Expect
Expect to be welcomed at our Sunday service by a diverse group of people from many nations. There’s no dress code required nor do you need to know anything about the Bible.
We’ll guide you through the gathering and all the material we use will be on the overhead and a printed copy of the programme is available. Even if you’re coming to church for the first time you’ll be able to follow along. We never approach anyone directly to give money. All financial contributions are entirely voluntary. There’s a discreet way to give by cash or card should you wish.
Our gathering is a mixture of traditional and modern forms. We sing, listen to the Bible read and explained, we use some set prayers and historic Christian summaries of faith, known as creeds. Bibles are provided for everyone to follow along.
We have a kids programme available from about mid-way through the main gathering. This is an option and not a requirement! We don’t mind the sounds of little people throughout and they’re welcome to stay in if you prefer.
We always have coffee, tea and various goodies after the more formal time ends and people usually stay for another hour or so to chat.
What We Believe
As an Anglican church, Immanuel Church Dublin adheres to the Reformed Evangelical standards of the 39 Articles of Religion.

iKids
Immanuel Kids (iKids) is our Bible teaching programme tailored to primary school-aged children.
We have ‘Big Kids’ on occasion, also where leaders go into more depth with older children. All our leaders are Garda Vetted and Safeguarding trained and we follow the Irish Church Missions Child Safeguarding Policy.
iKids begins about mid-way through the morning gathering. Occasionally, we have an All Age Gathering and everyone stays in the one room. iKids is there as an optional resource; some parents utilise the programme and some don’t. There is no compulsion either way!
At the moment, we can’t provide a creche but there is a seated area adjacent to the main room which can be used at any time. We always have someone by the door for your security.
Our People
Immanuel Church Dublin relies on the skills of a wide group of people for oversight, care and safeguarding.
