God's plan is not to give individuals the hope of heaven and keep them happy until that arrives. His plan is to demonstrate His grace and wisdom by building a new society; calling people together from every tribe, language, people and nation and for them in turn to build one another up for good works of service. Immanuel aims to be a model of God's society for the good of all in society, so that more may come to know Jesus.
